This Privacy Policy explains how Bloom AI ("App", "we", "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you use the App.

Information We Collect
We collect the following categories of data:

1) Identifiers
- App user identifier (for example, subscription/account ID generated by our subscription system).
- Device/app identifiers used for analytics and attribution.

2) Purchase and Subscription Data
- Subscription status, product purchased, transaction identifiers, and related credit balance data.
- This data is collected from app stores and our subscription provider.

3) Usage and Analytics Data
- In-app events (for example onboarding steps, paywall interactions, and purchase outcomes).
- Technical metadata (for example app version and platform) to operate and improve the App.

4) Advertising and Attribution Data
- We use Meta SDK for ad attribution/performance.
- On iOS, tracking permissions are requested via App Tracking Transparency (ATT). If allowed, identifiers such as IDFA may be used for attribution/optimization. If denied, we do not access IDFA.

5) User Content (AI Features)
- Photos/images you choose, optional brush/mask data, and text prompts you submit for AI generation/editing.
- Related request metadata: app user ID, app version, and platform.

How We Collect Information
- Directly from you (for example when you upload a photo, enter a prompt, submit feedback, or make a purchase).
- Automatically through SDKs and service providers (analytics, attribution, subscription/purchase systems).
- From third parties that process purchases/subscriptions (for example app stores and RevenueCat).

AI Data Sharing and Consent
- Before sending data for AI image generation/editing, the App shows a confirmation prompt explaining what data is sent and to whom.
- Data is sent to Google only after you confirm.
- If you do not confirm, your image/prompt data is not sent for AI processing and generation does not proceed.

How We Use Information
We use information to:
- Provide core app functionality (image generation/editing, subscriptions, credits).
- Process purchases, manage credits, and restore subscriptions.
- Measure and improve app performance, stability, and user experience.
- Measure advertising attribution and campaign performance.
- Detect abuse/fraud and enforce safety controls.

How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal data.
We share data with service providers that support App operations, including:
- AI processing provider: Google for requested image generation/editing.
- Subscription/purchase infrastructure: RevenueCat and app stores (Apple/Google).
- Analytics provider: PostHog.
- Advertising attribution provider: Meta.
These providers process data under their own terms/privacy policies and are expected to provide equal or stronger data protection safeguards.

Data Retention
- We retain data only as long as needed to provide the App, comply with legal obligations, and resolve disputes.
- AI image/prompt content is processed to fulfill your request; we do not intentionally store uploaded images long-term on our own backend beyond operational needs.

Face Data

The App may process images that contain human faces if you choose to upload such images for AI image generation or editing features.

The App does not perform facial recognition, biometric identification, or identity verification.

Any faces present in uploaded images are processed only as part of the image editing or generation requested by the user.

Images (which may contain faces) are sent to our AI processing provider Google solely to generate or edit the image requested by the user.

We do not create or store biometric identifiers, facial templates, or facial recognition data.

Images containing faces are not intentionally stored long-term on our backend and are retained only as long as necessary to process the request and operate the App. Your Choices
- You can choose whether to proceed when the AI data-sharing confirmation appears.
- You can control tracking via ATT and device settings.
- You may stop using the App at any time.

Children's Privacy
The App is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13.

Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards to protect information, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updates are effective when posted with a revised "Last updated" date.
